All set for my first track day since 04.
What do you know? It's April 3rd and raining. I took the day off, paid the $180 track fee and I get this crap.
They put cars on the track to help dry things up, I don't think it helped much.
Oh la la, my bike on her new stand.
It turned out to be really nice day. Other than a few wet spots it was a good start for the year. I'm hoping to get a hand full of track days in since I don't plan on riding on the road. I was excited to slide my knee for the first time. It sort of shocked me when it happened. It's good because it acts as an indicator on how far I'm leaning. When you get going really fast you want to be leaned over as much as possible without low siding.
These guys were finishing the day with practice starts. I'm not racing and I don't want to burn on my clutch so I sat it out.
Aaron and another guy that gave me some good pointers for decreasing my time.
