Here is a shot of my new cover that my mom bought for me, thanks mom. I had to fly down to Elk Grove this morning. The airport was vfr but the clouds were pretty low. Elk Grove is only a 10 minute hop south so I can get there below 1000' agl. but I prefer to fly there at least 1000'. Well right after takeoff I was 400' and closing in on the clouds (less than 500') so I decided to ask for special vfr which is retarded but I thought I would try so I could just maintain clear of clouds. Hey I've only flown special vfr one time so there you go, thought it was funny anyway's. Didn't get it so I just maintained 500' below, well that's my story.
That's my mom. I didn't ask her to do this, she was interested.
I think I might have a new helper. She drilled most of the holes on the aileron. I knew she was into arts and craft but it didn't cross my mind that this is basically the same stuff.
